And this is proper skiing – you’re in the heart of the Quatre Vallées ski domain – a legendary area that offers every type of run you’ll be looking for. Verbier is just over the hill! When you need to re-fuel, you’ll find great restaurants and bars everywhere on the mountains.

Because of the height of the Veysonnaz, you’re virtually guaranteed to get plenty of real snow, as well as powder, until much later in the season than many French or Italian resorts, so be prepared to try everything, and there is 95-100% 4 Valleys snow making coverage.I loved loitering on the balcony with a beer in the evening, watching the pisteurs at work, manicuring one of the runs to within an inch of its life, harvesting snow for the future, moving excess snow into exactly the right place for the next day, not rushing but doing a proper, professional job.

The Swiss are deadly serious about their skiing and don’t cut any corners when it comes to what other countries sometimes call ‘piste bashing’; they have the equipment and the knowledge to look after the precious snow and the precious people on it!

Penthouse on the Piste situated in the traditional alpine village of Veysonnaz is a wonderful option, from the Batman style car park to the wonderful and luxurious duplex living area it’s simply breathtaking. It has the great ski area of Thyon locally and is linked to Verbier and 4 valleys 400km ski area so it has good options for all levels. The view from the living area is the best alpine view I have seen from an apartment in the alps and Penthouse on the Piste has easy links to Sion or Geneva

What an amazing Chalet! Brilliantly situated for ‘ski in and out’. Luxurious interior boasting beautifully designed bedrooms all ‘en suite’. Stunning views. Comprehensive  open plan kitchen with all mod’ cons’. Warm and welcoming after an incredible days skiing. Quality in every aspect. My son and I return every year. We love the Chalet, we love the area, would highly recommend to all.
